The charming state of Goa, with its limitless possibilities and astounding marvels, has always been a keen destination for tourists from all over the world. Your trip to Goa is incomplete without water sports, the most exhilarating part of it all. The best season to visit Goa for water sports is from October to May, with clear skies and the sea is calm. During this season you will find tourists from all around the world.

Parasailing: Take a flight in the skies and feel the wind rushing to your face. The thought itself is so exciting, right? This sport involves flying by means of 300 feet long rope tied to a parasail on one side and speedboat on the other. When the speed boat takes, the parasailor takes a step or two and whoosh- in the air!

Scuba diving is a treat, and never fails to astound even the most experienced divers, with its wide variety of marine life. In addition, Goa is blessed with a score of shipwrecks. So while you are saying a “hi” to the little fishes, you might come across the remains of old ships, some even traced to World War 2.

Water scooter: love the splashes? Ride the water scooter and pave your way out through sea. The scooter can accommodate two people.

Water skiing/ Jet skiing: Experience speed and the thrill of venturing on the sea with the motor boats that can reach up to the speed of 30 – 40 miles per hour. The best part about this activity is that you can share the rush with the group of friends or family, as the craft can carry six- eight people at a time.

Wind Surfing: Looking for thrill? Wind surfing is a unique combination of sailing and surfing in which you chase the waves and fight the wind. Dona Paula bay is the most popular beach for this sport. Also the sport is not just for the experts but beginners can also learn it during the morning hours when the wind is light and sea is relatively calm.

Dinghy sailing, also referred to as “beer and sandwich sailing”, is yet another water sport which provides a rather pleasant experience. The sport can be enjoyed by 3-4 people at a time, who can It is as much fun as wind sailing, and being youthful to enjoy this form of sailing isn’t a necessity.

Angling: Sea-food is definitely the utmost favorite cuisine that you would relish on your visit to Goa. So take some time out and catch those little creatures you devour. The Agonda beach in Canacona, is the most favorite spot for Angling. Soormai, salmon and mullet are the easiest catch.

Swimming: It is the most common water sport of the place, enjoyed by both- young and old. The clam beaches of Goa allow you to let loose yourself and float lazily on the gentle waves.
