Tashkent International Airport is the main entry point into Uzbekistan and the largest airport here. It is located a few kilometres from the city. From India, flights ply via Dubai, Istanbul, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok and other cities like London and Moscow. Direct flights to Tashkent are also available from Amritsar, and the duration is around two hours thirty minutes. The public transport system in Tashkent is well developed, with taxis and hired cars available readily. Buses and trams are also a good option to get around.
