Pelling Overview

A pretty, picturesque town in West Sikkim, Pelling is about 10 kilometres from Geyzing, the district headquarters. With alpine vegetation and several gurgling waterfalls plunging down the green hillsides, this place promises to take your breath away with its beauty. Situated at a height of 6,800 feet, Pelling offers travellers an up-close-and-personal view of the Kanchenjunga peak as well as other mountains like Dom, Kumbhakarna and Kotang. Because of its proximity to the mountains, Pelling is also a base camp for trekkers, who scale the snow-peaked heights for pleasure and pride.
