Hidden in the verdant and thick forests, the ancient temple is the abode of the goddess Mangaladevi. Built on a peak, which is 1337 M above sea level and offers some fantastic views of the ghats, this place of worship is built in the architectural style typical to Kerala. You can only visit this temple on the day of the Chitra Poornima. For permission to visit the temple, contact the Wildlife Warden at Thekkady at 91-486-322027.
