The raw beauty of the Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh is a timeless spectacle, where the majestic Himalayas create a snowy abode for an untouched desert mountain. One can find a lot of ancient Buddhist monastries here which are contain lovely murals and paintings and some precious manuscripts. The Tabo monastery here is called the Ajanta of the Himalayas because of its lovely mural paintings and sculptures. Kye is the largest monastery in the valley and is also famous for its Stuco images and rare manuscripts. When here, one can also visit neighbouring places like Leh and Manali.
