Toledo: You can spend a morning, afternoon or full day in Toledo, Spain's medieval capital and a treasure trove of El Greco artworks. This is a city filled with amazing medieval architecture, which you can soak in as you take a walk past its cobblestone alleyways. You must catch the famous paintings by the 16th-century artist, El Greco. Toledo is a national monument to Spain's art and history, amalgamating Arabic, Mudejar Gothic and Renaissance architecture. Surrounded by the River Tajo, the walled town is filled with churches and museums.
Take a trip into Spain's history on a day tour to Segovia. On the way you must also see Avila.
