Located 26 kms away from Nainital, Naukuchiatal is a lake known for having nine corners. This lake is still untouched by majority of the tourist population and owing to this, has managed to maintain its serenity till date. Take a walk around the nine-cornered lake to enjoy the beautiful natural setting. Otherwise, you can also go on a boating tour and explore the scenic surroundings.
The prime attraction of Bhimtal (situated 22 kms from Nainital) is the Bhimtal lake, which has a beautiful island at the centre. Apart from being a main tourist destination, it is also the mini district headquarters since most of the offices of the district administration have been shifted here.
