The Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, or San Siro Stadium, has played host to many exciting football matches over the years. Right behind the Sforzesco castle is one of the city’s most popular parks. Designed in like a neoclassical landscape garden, this large expanse of green has a lake, the Arco della pace (arch of peace), a Roman-style sports' amphitheatre and a tower. Comparable in fame only to his ‘Mona Lisa’, this original masterpiece is housed at Milan’s Santa Maria delle Grazie, and depicts the famous meal shared by Jesus and his disciples in the final days before his death, as recorded in the Gospel of John.
