A trip to Lakshadweep could be made anytime in the year but since it is surrounded by ocean, high levels of humidity can be a bit uncomfortable during the monsoon. Besides, reaching Lakshadweep from Cochin by ship is also difficult during monsoon. The best time to visit Lakshadweep is between October and mid May, just before the rains start.
