The summer months from March to June are extreme in Tirupati, with temperatures peaking at around 45°C. The monsoons from July to September bring mild showers upon the city. In the months of October and November, Tirupati witnesses heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. The winter months from December to February are pleasant with the minimum temperature at 15°C.
Though the Venkateshwara temple is open all year, the best time to visit Tirupati would be in the monsoon months of July, August and September. The city's famous Brahmotsavam festival falls in September.
