The summers in Ujjain span from April to June and during this time, the temperatures vary in the range of 32°C to 44°C. Then, the monsoons follow from July to September and bring about moderate to heavy rainfall. The winters (November to February) here are pleasant with the daytime temperatures peaking at around 21°C and the minimum temperatures dropping to 4°C (usually at night).
When visiting Ujjain, it is preferable to avoid the summer heat. Hence, the months between October and March are a great time to visit the city.
