Valencia has a subtropical climate with very mild winters and long warm to hot summers. August is the warmest month with temperatures ranging from 28–34 °C and about 23 °C at night. December, January and February are the coldest months, with average temperatures around 17 °C during the day and 8 °C at night.
When To visit
There are lots of good times to visit Valencia. The best time to visit would be during March/ April when the Las Fallas de San Jose, arguably the best festival here, takes place. May and June see Valencia in full bloom - this is when nature is at its best, the weather great and the tourist crowds not so heavy yet. July and August sees a searingly hot summer, but don't let that deter you as July is the month for bull fights and in August the messy but wonderful La Tomatino Festival takes place.
