In true patriotic spirit, hundreds of New-Yorkers gathered at the site of the Four World Trade Center to witness the final steel beam being mounted atop the architectural marvel. The tower is the fourth among the five planned towers of the New World Trade Center and will be the second to reach completion.

Famous RnB singer BeBe Winans moved spectators when he sang ‘God Bless America’ as the beam was being lifted using a gigantic crane. The city’s top bureaucrats and politicians stood shoulder to shoulder with workers and wrote messages on the beam before it was raised. The American flag was unfurled from the beam and workers stood with their hats close to their hearts to pay their homage to those who lost their lives in the tragedy of September 2011.

The Four World Trade center will see its tenants moving in by the fall of 2013.
