This is not a hotel; this is one big party.

The #TwitterPoolParty at Sol Wave

The Sol Wave House, which opened on the beach of Magaluf in Spain in 2012, is a revolutionary concept. It connects all its guests through twitter. And provides them ample opportunities to mingle. As simple as that. And now it has got even better with the launch of its virtual community called #SocialWave.

This is one hotel where you are likely to meet potential dates, friends, and interesting people your age (well, if you are young). It is a haven for the young and hep crowd. The kind that’s online all the time. It’s time to admit that twitter is a blessing. This one makes your stay fun and interactive, not to mention convenient.

Why is it so cool?

  1. #SocialWave- The hotel’s own twitter community service. It is accessible only through the hotel’s Wi-Fi. Guests are encouraged to document their stay, share pictures, indulge in harmless flirting, and up their online popularity (as well as the hotel’s).

    Share the love

  2. Twitter Concierges – You want beer, water, coke? Just tweet “#Fill my fridge”. Yes, these twitter concierges are devoted to meeting all guest requirements that come via Twitter. They are the Man Fridays, the new-age room service.
They are the conversation starters, if we may say.  They help guests to interact on the twitter community.

3. Then there’s the #TwitterPoolPartythat happens every Friday. It’s fun, it’s free.

  • Everybody is invited.

    4. #TwitterPartySuitesspacious– these chic suites have VIP hammocks, customizable mini bars, and guests are treated to free champagne and discounts on all bars and restaurants in the hotel.

    5. The hotel boasts of plush suites with sea views, happening pools where pares are conducted, a vast terrace overlooking the sea, lounges and live music.

As the hotel website says: “Every corner of the hotel is designed to help strike up new conversations, make friends and enjoy unique experiences.
